They’ve done it!

Our judges have just completed the difficult task of narrowing down our entries, to produce a truly impressive shortlist:

‘ROFLMAO’ produced by Simon O’Neill
‘Friend Request Pending’ produced by Chris Croucher
‘I Genitori’ produced by Fernando Tiberini
‘4Q’ produced by Derek Gereg
‘Alice’ produced by Inspiring Drama
‘Love in the time of Twitter’ produced by Bishop Perowne School

This is a showcase of a range of filmmakers, from the very experienced to  promising newcomers.

Why don’t you come and see…..

Look out for the list of finalists in our short film competition.  We should be posting them on Saturday 29 September!

With only THREE WEEKS to go, tickets are selling fast and excitement about the Festival is building. It’s attracting film fans and Relate fans, not to mention the ‘Chipping Norton Set’! What better way to spend an October weekend, be it golden or (more probably) wet? You will experience and support the vision of innovative short film artists as well as enjoying feature films, provoking thought and discussion about the role of social media in today’s relationships.

How about you? Do you see it as a boon or a hindrance to communication with your nearest and dearest?

The closing date for submissions to the competition is now 21 August 2012!

Word about the festival is spreading far and wide now, so we’re keen to ensure that potential film makers have enough time to finalise their submissions – hence the change of date. We have some stunning entries already and we’re looking forward to lots more!

We have a great line-up of judges all waiting to view your films.  See details about them on our ‘Our Judges’ page.

Feature Films

AND we’ve chosen all our feature films for Friday night and all day Saturday.  We’ve put a great deal of thought into our selection and we’re sure you’ll enjoy every one of them.  They’ll be up on our website soon, so keep checking and make sure they’re in your diary.

We also have a great speaker lined up.  Details about her and her work will also be posted soon…. She’s certainly someone you will not want to miss!
